2 Killed After Driver Slams Into Two Parked Cars
Two people were killed and another was seriously injured in a suspected DUI crash in Escondido early Saturday morning. According to police, the fatal collision happened right in front of Escondido High School the vehicle was occupied by three passengers.
The car was speeding when the driver lost control and crashed with into two parked vehicles north of Escuela Glen. Police said the driver and front passenger died at the scene. The back passenger was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
According to investigators, the collision appears to be DUI-related as multiple beer bottles were found inside the car. The investigation is ongoing.
